The July/August “Perspectives” column in Public Libraries magazine will focus on the decision by HarperCollins to limit the check-out of eBooks. The editor for that issue, Nanci Milone Hill, is currently looking for personal perspectives on this topic. Do you have an opinion on how the library world should react to this decision? An opinion or insight as to why this change was made? If you think you might have something to say on the matter, she would love to hear from you!
Essays should be no longer than 1500 words in length. There is no pay, but contributors receive two free copies of the issue in which their essay appears. The deadline for contributions is Monday, June 20. Please submit your essay to Nanci at . We look forward to hearing from you!
