At PLA we’re very excited about the first-ever Virtual Spring Symposium (VSS) on March 30, but we realize that while the virtual aspect offers many benefits, it doesn’t allow you to see your fellow attendees… until now!
We’re collecting brief shout-out videos from all our VSS attendees—individual and group registrants alike. We’ll play them on the day of the event during the breaks, so you’ll get a chance to see who’s on the other side of the World Wide Web.
Tell us your name(s) and library; stand outside your library and shout hello; show us the computer (or room) you’ll be using to attend the VSS; or come up with your own creative idea—just be sure to have fun and represent you and your library!
Some Guidelines
Videos should be a maximum length of 30 secs. Suitable file types are .mp4, .wmv, .mov.
If creating a video is not an option, you may send a photo instead. Suitable file types are .jpg and .tif.
Deadline to submit a video/photo—Friday, March 25.
Groups may submit more than one video to recognize different departments attending.
Email the file to Amy Sargent, . Include your name, library, and any video/photo details necessary.
If you’re worried the file size is too big, use this free and easy file sharing site https://www.yousendit.com.
