The PLA Blog | Official Blog of the Public Library Association

This brief article by Nancy Lubin in the September 2010 issue of Fast Company contains advice for non-profits hoping to ‘win’ the charitable dollars that major corporations are increasingly turning over to public vote. (For example, Pepsi Refresh contest and Chase Community Giving.) Lubin points out that the corporate contests probably aren’t going away soon, as they are not expensive to sponsor and make the companies look good, and she provides great tips for improving your chances of winning.
