Today’s (Tuesday October 27, 2009) keynote address at Internet Librarian in Monterey was entitled “Library of Desire.” Unfortunately, they never really got to dive very deep into the subject matter specifically. They did float around the subject in a very interesting way and the number of amazing and thought provoking ideas that emerged was immense. Some of the best quotes were;

“The universe is made of stories not atoms”

“Don’t just give people what they want, give them something that surprises them and better yet, yourself!”

“it’s a bloody struggle to make what I do work; resistance can be tremendous, but your passion can make a difference”

“The way I did it was by doing it”
