Stopped at Utica Public Library

We stopped in central New York at the Utica Public Library the other day.

Utica Public Library is a grand building that shows the kind of commerce the Erie Canal brought to upstate New York back in the 19th century.  The building opened in 1904 and it still serves the people of Utica today.  Read more about Utica and the city’s historyhere.

Wow you really are having a great trip. The shots of the Utica Public Library are wonderful, I guess it is a bit of an architectural adventure as well as the big road trip!

Looking forward to seeing the shots of the next great spot… how is the dog doing! Enjoying the trip as much as you are. Plenty of rest stops on the way I guess.

    Happy travels!

Thanks Michiel! The dog is doing great! Yes, a tour of libraries always turns into an architectural tour, doesn’t it? Stay tuned for some more posts soon!
