Maybe there was an economic reason for including them, but I think the conference bags are the wrong place for them. On the up side, they were nicely packaged in an envelope that I was able to mail. I am a seasoned conference goer, and this is the first time I remember getting such a heavy package. Yes, the trick is to try to pick up your materials before you have to start going from one meeting to another. Take only what you need.
