PLA Symposium First-Timer
March 2nd, 2007 by Meg CanadaI am enjoying my first ever PLA Spring Symposium. Although San Jose, California has been a cool high 50’s in temperature- it beats my hometown Wayzata, Minnesota right now. My Hennepin County Library colleagues and I took advantage of the beginning of the week visiting six public libraries, two museums, and one school. Among the public libraries we visited: Belmont and San Carlos (San Mateo County Libraries), Martin Luthur King, Jr. and Rose Garden (San Jose Public Libraries),Central Park Library (City of Santa Clara), and the Livermore Public Library.
