PLA Symposium First-Timer

March 2nd, 2007 by Meg Canada

I am enjoying my first ever PLA Spring Symposium. Although San Jose, California has been a cool high 50’s in temperature- it beats my hometown Wayzata, Minnesota right now. My Hennepin County Library colleagues and I took advantage of the beginning of the week visiting six public libraries, two museums, and one school. Among the public libraries we visited: Belmont and San Carlos (San Mateo County Libraries), Martin Luthur King, Jr. and Rose Garden (San Jose Public Libraries),Central Park Library (City of Santa Clara), and the Livermore Public Library.

So glad you visited San Carlos and Belmont, two of the branches to my library system. If I’d known you were a-coming, I would have given you a tour :)
