Amanda, I don't think I'm your mystery blogger. I hadn't cooridinated with Kathleen or anyone from PLA. I'm just blogging on my own. I'm an un-official, unauthorized blogger.

Elizabeth! You were the mystery blogger to be added to our ranks (Kathleen mentioned a possible 5th blogger, but didn't give me a name).

I'm enjoying the symposium thus far, had a great tour of the King library (pictures on my photo bucket, linked from my blog) . The internet in my room is a wonderful bonus to help with all of us bloggers. I can't wait to read other people's thoughts about this experience, especially from the other sessions. I'll be in the Literacy session.

Hi PLA, I'm Kristin Yiotis, also coming from the local area--namely San Jose State where I'm in my very last semester at SLIS. I'm this year's chair person for our ALASC branch chapter and thought it would be a good idea to offer our org's services to PLA for the duration of the conference. So if you see some SLIS, SJSU students around at strategic points providing direction, you will know we're the volunteers.

I'm getting my laptop fired up at the Fairmont upstairs lobby area and can get on the hotel wifi with the freebie uplink. I'll be blogging the Advocacy @ Your Library workshop, so see you there.

Chiming in... I'm Sandra Stewart, and as a San Jose local working at SJPL, I've been meeting and greeting Symposium attendees who are touring the King Library.
