PLA Blog

Remember that password-protected post from earlier in the month? Today we’re launching *all* of the posts for that project.

In collaboration with the PLA Service Responses team, the PLA Blog will be host to discussions about each of the 17 service responses in development by the PLA Service Responses team. You will be able to find an index of these posts, as well as a detailed description, on the PLA Service Responses Discussion page here on the blog (a link to the discussion index will also be available in the right-side navigation of the PLA Blog home page).

All 17 service responses will be posted today, including links back to the current service response texts on the PLA Service Responses site, as well as questions and comments summarized from discussions at the 2006 ALA Annual Conference in New Orleans. Public librarians everywhere are encouraged to comment on as many of the service responses as possible, and to continue visiting the posts, fostering discussions to help better develop service responses that fit today’s library service world.
