It’s a long, long way to NOLA
June 23rd, 2006 by Mary WepkingThe only good answer to “How was your trip?” is the single word — “uneventful.” Unfortunately, I’ve come to New Orleans to learn that everyone has a tale of woe regarding cancelled flights (my first leg), re-routing through cities not at all on any kind of logical geographic path to their destination, missed connections, the list goes on. I did arrive, thanks to the benevolence of a couple of very wonderful people on their way to the exhibit hall (I’m not supposed to mention company names, but let’s just say the initials are “Demco” — thanks Janet & Caroline!) who opted to drive from Madison to O’Hare to catch the 2nd leg of our flight. They saved the day!

Yay! Glad to hear you made it safely. “Uneventful” would also sum up Friday at the office.
