PLA Job and Career Information discussion group
January 23rd, 2006 by Ryan Langhurst1:28pm: Librarian from a public library in New York hopes some people show up since she stayed an extra day in San Antonio for this 1:30pm discussion group.
1:41pm: Okay PLA folks, where are you? Are you going to show up for this discussion group? New York Librarian waits patiently reading a guide to finance.
1:45pm: Does the 15-minute college class waiting time rule apply here?
1:47pm: Ironically, I’m listening to The White Stripes A Boy’s Best Friend- the lyric: “I’m all alone here…”. Then Jack White with his best Beatles/McCartney impersonation (and it is good) on Truth Doesn’t Make a Noise.
1:53pm: New York librarian goes to hotel post office to see what’s going on. The post office? I’m not sure why either.
1:55pm: Conclusion: Not many people interested in discussing jobs and career information.
2pm: I hope the moderator is okay, wherever he/she may be. Bye!
