This came to me by way of a press release sent out to the Massachusetts Library Association member listserv. While I have been unable to find other sources about this event, I figured I’d share this and a few other Narnia tidbits.
An exhibit tour for the upcoming movie adaptation release of The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe, including life-size statues of characters, costumes, props, a movie trailer preview, and backstage footage will be making a stop at the Boston Public Library November 3-6, 2005.
A public press conference will be held on Friday, November 4th at 12:30pm at the BPL Copley branch in Downtown Boston. Massachusetts Department of Education members and other assembled dignitaries will participate in a reading, after which children can tour and interactively explore the exhibit. Light refreshments will be provided. For more details about the event, contact Debbie Exner at 617-859-2383.
Other tour locations will include Washington D.C. from October 28 – November 2 and New York City from November 10 – 14. No other details were provided for these locations, but if you have information you can share, please add a comment to this post and let us know.
