Steven M. Cohen and myself, Andrea Mercado, have been become the official co-managers of the PLA Blog. The mission of the PLA Blog is to enhance the members learning experience through the publication of national, regional, and local library initiatives and PLA events.

Steven and I will both be posting on a regular basis about PLA news and initiatives, what’s going on at public libraries everywhere, and blogging upcoming conferences with the help of our conference blogger crew. I know Steven and I are both very excited to get started, and we’d like to thank Kathleen Hughes, PLA, and ALA for the opportunity.
