Hiya from Andrea Mercado

My name is Andrea Mercado, and I’m the author of LibraryTechtonics.info. I’m a born information junkie with a past life in technology (web dev, project management, tech writing and editing, tech support, etc.), which is what led me to library school at Simmons GSLIS, where I graduated in May 2004. While I search for a job that is a blend of tech, reference, and instruction, I’m working freelance reference, doing volunteer projects at my local library, and, of course, blogging.

I’ve never been to an ALA meeting of any kind, so this should be a crazy ride.
