ALA Goes Google

In the thought-you-might-like-to-know department, it’s official: ALA has chosen the Google Appliance as its search engine, according to the pre-conference report ALA distributed to Councilors and similar governance types. Don’t know when it will be implemented, but it would be good to see this happen before April 7 (the second anniversary of the day the new website and its search engine debuted). I would bet on a formal announcement sometime during this conference. It will be great to get that website searchable again!
